We welcome the above presenters to the Lanai' auditorium to discuss the very important Encino Hills Traffic Calming initiative. The initiative is in response to the high levels of traffic volume from commuters cutting through the neighborhood. LADOT is exploring ways to reduce some of the traffic volume on Hayvenhurst Ave./Calneva Dr., with additional efforts that may include attempts to reduce traffic volume on local streets that lead to Hayvenhurst Ave./Calneva Dr., and to Sepulveda Blvd.
Potential changes include turning restrictions from side streets, speed humps, medians and limiting the number of cars crossing Ventura Boulevard.
Any changes to traffic patterns will directly impact our neighbors, staff and families who commute from outside of the impacted zone. YOUR VOICE IS IMPORTANT.This event is open to the public and we look forward to seeing everyone there.
