Resident Boundary Students K-5

Before requesting an enrollment packet, please use the Resident School Identifier button to verify that your home address falls within the Lanai Road Elementary School boundaries.

Residency Requirements

Lanai Road Elementary verifies the home address of all incoming and currently enrolled students to ensure compliance with district boundaries.

    • Students found with falsified addresses will be immediately transferred to their home school.

    • A student may have only one residence for enrollment purposes — the home where the parent/guardian and student actually live.

What Qualifies as a Residence?

“Residence” means the place where the student actually sleeps each night.
The following do NOT qualify:

    • Vacant properties

    • Homes under construction

    • A relative’s home where the parent/guardian and student do not live

Home Visits

To verify residency, home visits may be conducted. During a home visit, administration may:

    • Speak with neighbors

    • Ask to see the student's bedroom and belongings

    • Ask how long the family has lived at the address

⚠️ Falsification Policy

To protect the rights of students who genuinely reside within our boundaries, please note:

    • Falsifying documents at any time will result in immediate disenrollment.

    • You will be required to enroll your child at their home school.

    • Families found to have submitted false documents will be barred from enrolling at Lanai Road for one full calendar year.

Enrollment Packet

Lanai Road provides a comprehensive enrollment packet. Please do not use the generic LAUSD “Enroll” button.
