Non Resident Students
Understanding the Permit Process
Lanai Road Elementary School is a neighborhood school which means it must enroll all resident families before enrolling non residents. Lanai Road is currently at capacity and adheres strictly to district enrollment guidelines. Students residing within the designated Lanai residential boundaries are guaranteed enrollment. After all resident students are placed, any remaining openings are determined and may only be filled through the official LAUSD Intra-District Permit process. Lanai Road does not participate in open enrollment, and enrollment requests outside of the established process cannot be accommodated.
